The casual atmosphere of Everyday People Café

The attentive wait staff goes the extra mile,
replenishing silverware with each course and keeping water glasses
full. Service equates to the perfect amalgamation of courtesy,
friendliness, hospitality and professionalism, underscored by
a thorough knowledge of the menu and companionable wines.
"And the staff does a great job with small
children," wrote one panelist.
The wine list is impressive and extensive, with
a focus on food-pairing partners. The menu even suggests the appropriate
bin numbers meant to enhance the flavors of each dish. The full
bar includes after-dinner drink specialties and rare ports.
Smoke-free, the restaurant and bar are an eclectic
mix of ingredients that combine to form a casual-yet-upscale ambiance.
A soothing selection of low-key music plays, and candles and fresh
flowers top the tables that are covered in tan linen and white
butcher paper.
Depression-era green and amber dishware along
on glassed-in wall evoke visions of an old diner. The original
tin ceiling overhead is adorned with modern light fixtures that
set a low-key mood, and eye-appealing artwork graces the walls.
